Goals

I just got back from our stake YW Recognition night, it was inspiring, and has gotten me thinking about goals. Not so much goals that I want to accomplish in the next week or month or even year really, they're just things I would like to do at some point in my life. So here they are, my bucket list if you will:
  • I would love to learn how to play the harp, I think it is one of the most gorgeous instruments to listen to and would love to play it.
  • Be in a musical, any musical really, any scale production, I think it would be so fun to sing on stage! Oh, the adrenaline rush!
  • Be a special education teacher, my brief stint as a special ed assistant, working with my sweet/challenging autistic kids, made me fall in love with the work.
  • Do the new personal progress program, I should have started working on this while I was in the YW presidency, but now that I'm leaving I guess I still want it to be part of my life somehow, so now is as a good a time as any.

So there are just a few of my goals. Random, I know, but we have to be working toward something in life right? Most of these things will not happen soon, there is a time for everything, and now is my time to be a mom, and I love it, but someday the kidlets will grow up and I have to entertain myself somehow!

Great goals!

I served the dessert at a stake YW meeting last May and also was so inspired! I pulled out the new YW personal progress book and just loved what was in it! I started working on a few things and really enjoyed it. I haven't worked on anything since being in the hospital, but I am going to try again! Thanks for the inspiration!
